How do I send my photo to be restored?
You can either scan your old photo and send it as an e-mail attachment or send it by post.
To send you photo as an e-mail attachment, scan your photo at a resolution of at least 300 dpi and save it as a TIFF or JPEG and e-mail it to bob@yellowgibbon.com along with a description of what you want doing to it and how you want the finished restoration to look.
If you want to send the original by post. Post it to the address below, with a description of the work you want doing and how you want the finished photo to look.

Will I lose my original?
All of our work is performed digitally, so you get you original photographs back in exactly the same condition that we recieved them.
I don't want to send my original in the post and I don't have a scanner, what can I do?
You can take your photo to a local camera shop and they will scan your photo for you and put it onto a CD. Once this is done you can either email the digital photo or post the CD to us following the details in the first question.
What restoration work can be done to my photo?
A list of services is available on the pricing page. The list is by no means endless so if you want something doing that isn't mentioned on that page. Send a request to bob@yellowgibbon.com and I'm sure we'll be able to deal with it.
How long does it take?
Depending on workload your photo will usually be restored, repaired and returned to you within a week.
What does it cost?
Prices vary depending on the amount of work required.
Minor corrections £5
Minor restoration £10
Moderate restoration £17
Major restoration £25
For a no obligation quotation send your photo to us, along with a description of the work you want doing, by following one of the methods in the first question. Once recieved a quote will emailed to you immediately.
Will I get to see the work before I pay?
A low resolution sample of the work will be emailed to you to check before payment is made. If you are unhappy with the result or you want something else changing in the photo, just ask and the changes will be made.
I have a question that hasn't been answered in the FAQ. How do I ask it?
